This meet is also a Prep Meet even if you are not interested in being selected for the Indoor Team Ontario.
MTA will be selecting 20 athletes to compete at the Adidas Track Nationals March 21-23, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The team of 20 athletes will travel to Virginia from March 20-24 to represent MTA and Ontario. The ae categories that will make up the team are Atom 11-12 yrs, MTA Senior 13-14 yrs, Intermediate 15-16 yrs, and Youth 17-18 yrs.
IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR SELECTION TO THE INDOOR TEAM ONTARIO - ATHLETES *MUST* HAVE PARTICIPATED AT THIS MEET AND AT THE FIRST MEET ON SATURDAY DECEMBER 14. Athletes must also achieve the standards to be eligible for selection.
Events Offered:
TRACK- 60 m, 200 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1200 m for Tyke, Mile/1600 m, 3000 m
FIELD- Shot put, Long Jump, High Jump
Event Limits:
Peewee- Compete in 2 events
Mite & Tyke- Compete in a maximum of 3 events of which only 2 can be track events
Atom - Youth- Compete in a maximum of 3 events (any combination of Track & Field)
Tentative schedule included in technical package. Final schedule to be communicated Friday February 14, if there are any adjustments.
