This meet is part of a series of meets to be held in Hamilton by the Golden Horseshoe Track & Field Council and is connected with another Hurdles meet on July 11.
EVENTS OFFERED:
Track: Steeplechase, Sprint Hurdles (80/100/110), Intermediate Hurdles (200/300/400),
800, 200
Field: Discus, Hammer, High jump, Pole vault
*Note: Seated throws are available. If any Para athlete would like to compete in a seated throw please contact the Meet Director no later than two weeks before the scheduled meet. Thank you.
Events will be capped to ensure control of numbers in the facility and adhering to schedule. These numbers, however, are subject to change as the meet evolves.
Steeplechase - 12 competitors TOTAL among all categories (different race specs will determine the number of sections)
80 m Hurdles - 12 competitors TOTAL (up to 3 sections)
100 m Hurdles - 12 competitors TOTAL (up to 3 sections)
110 m Hurdles - 12 competitors TOTAL (up to 3 sections)
200 m Hurdles - 12 competitors TOTAL (up to 3 sections)
300 m Hurdles - 12 competitors TOTAL (up to 3 sections)
400 m Hurdles - 12 competitors TOTAL (up to 3 sections)
800 - 24 competitors (2 sections each of M / F)
200 - 24 competitors (4 sections each of M / F)
Discus - 12 competitors (1 section each of M / F)
Hammer - 12 competitors (1 section each of M / F)
High jump - 12 competitors (1 section each of M / F)
Pole vault - 12 competitors (1 section each of M / F)
8:45 am- Registration & bib number pick-up, facility open for initial warm-ups
Tentative schedule included in Technical package. Final schedule to be determined based on entry numbers.
