This special 3K event is to honour the memory of the late Brockville native and TISS graduate, Kevin Dunbar.
The June 22 event is also a fundraiser for the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund. Proceeds from the event will go the fund. The first scholarship award of $2500 was made in July 1, 2023 to Brockville TISS graduate Nathan Plant.
The 3K approx. course is out and back, starts at 10am with one lap of the TISS track, exit to Tupper to Peden, north on Windsor to the turnaround at Laurier Blvd. and back to the finish line on the TISS track.
It is an open to all community event, and is non-competitive for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. No timing, no awards, etc.
