Athletics Ontario allows individuals to complete an on-line Police Record check, which can be used when registering as a coach or associate . This service is available to anyone requiring a Police Record check.
In accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), youth records will only be released to federal, provincial or municipal government agencies. Record checks for young persons won't be conducted for any other purpose. Therefore, annual criminal record checks will not be required for minor coaches (under the age of 18).
Upon registering and paying for this service, you will receive a confirmation email from Triton Canada which will include sign up details within 2 business days.
Please note: The AO office will be closed from December 27 - January 2, 2021. Registrations made between December 27 and January 3, will be processed by January 6, 2021.
