Join Penticton Track and Field Club for a high altitude cross country running camp at Nickel Plate Nordic Centre this September 6-8, 2024.
For 2011 athletes and older, must be able to run 10km+ comfortably and hold an active competitive BC Athletics Membership. https://www.bcathletics.org/Membership/
This year's camp is an overnight outdoor camping event. We will have the use of the lodge for bathrooms (no showers), seminars, and meals but all participants are required to sleep outside in tents, trailers or any other outdoor camping arrangements you may provide. Please note, night time temperatures in early September can go down to close to freezing. $275 registration fee includes lodge rental and all meals and snacks for the weekend.
The camp also includes an Olympian guest speaker, sports performance seminar, apex hike, nickelplate lake swim, cross country-athlon, scavenger hunt, and spike ball tournament as well as targeted training sessions for the 2024 cross country season.

Full refunds will be provided due to unforeseen circumstances before Sept 5.
A detailed schedule will be sent by email after Aug 30th. Athletes will need to arrange their own sleeping accommodations on site (please let us know if you need help with this). A full list of items to bring will be sent out the week before camp. Drop off is Friday 11:00am and pick up time Sunday is 11:00am.
