Join Mile2Marathon and We Run The World Coaching on July 18th at 6pm for an evening of running and celebrating at Chase the Pace. Chase the Pace was created as an opportunity for runners of all abilities to try out racing on the track in a fun and welcoming environment. Join in some fun with your local running community!
Most track meets are exclusive to the fastest runners. Chase the Pace was created to give everyone a spot on the start line.
The adult races are all 5000M (12.5 laps of the track). This is a distance that we think is a good mix of speed and endurance.
We’ll have heats (that’s track meet talk for different waves or races) for 35-minute runners, 15-minute runners, and everything in between. You’ll be placed in a heat with runners of similar ability. We will also have expert pacers to help you get the most out of your 12.5 laps of the track. We do the pacing, you do the chasing.
This event is open to all runners, of all abilities.
Want to bring your active and speedy kids along? Awesome! We are also running a kids 400m run!
