Other Information
The Limestone Mile is happening at Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute (LCVI) located at 153 Van Order Dr, Kingston, ON K7M 1B9 (Venue Change for 2026). This is a safe course that provides a good view for spectators, lots of parking, and is completely free of any traffic issues. The course will be officially measured. It is accurate to 10cm, it’s flat, on a gravel track. The start is extra wide, with the course comfortably allowing four runners abreast. This event will be held in-person. There are no refunds for this event. Stollers are only allowed in the Mile Walk.
Also, the annual KRRA Canada Day Limestone Mile will be an opportunity for Kevin’s family, and the Kingston and Area community to gather and remember Kevin and also as an opportunity to raise funds for the Kevin Dunbar Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Schedule for July 1, 2026:
0800hrs – Bib Pickup commences
0830HR – Mile Walk with strollers permitted
0900hrs – Kids 9 and under (Age on Race Day)
0930hrs – Kids 10 and older (Age on Race Day)
1000hrs – Kids Awards
1030hrs – Women’s A Heat (Sub 7:15 mile)
1045hrs – Women's B Heat (7:15 + mile)
1100hrs – Men’s A Heat (Sub 6 mile)
1115hrs - Men's B Beat (6+ mile)
1130hrs – Awards, Draw Prizes and Presentations
